Hubert Burda Media Group and Shoah Foundation
Steven Spielberg once said, “To learn history, you must look in history’s eye.” Inspired by this powerful truth, we partnered with visionary leader Dr. Hubert Burda—founder and CEO of the $4.5 billion Hubert Burda Media Group—and Mr. Spielberg to launch the first interactive educational initiative developed by the Shoah Foundation. This groundbreaking effort was unveiled at a historic gathering in Berlin, where 500 global leaders came together to honor memory and advance understanding.
As liaison and strategic facilitator, we orchestrated collaboration among key stakeholders—including the German government, the Central Council of Jews in Germany, the Shoah Foundation, and Hubert Burda Media—to bring this initiative to life. The result was a widely publicized, deeply meaningful two-day event that marked a milestone in Holocaust education and global dialogue.
